| Steelcom holds the NZFS communications contract for three regions: Northland, Auckland and Bay/Waikato. In this role we install and maintain all communications equipment including radios, light-bars, sirens, and man-carried equipment. |
| Steelcom is also a preferred supplier to supply and install fire station data/communications/turnout systems, door activations etc for new and refurbished stations. |
Other special projects include:
- Design and build of a temperature control and monitoring system for the Live Fire Fighter's Training Facility in Rotorua.
- For Auckland International Airport, design and build of a Live Fire Fighter's Training Facility, and ongoing maintenance of emergency crew equipment.
- Design and build of a Hazmat/Command vehicle.
